The National Monuments Service's description
Near the top of a long, gentle, E-facing tillage slope, in an area of extensively reclaimed land. When recorded in the mid-1980's a large, penannular (open to the SE), sub-circular area (diams. c. 110m N-S; c. 94m E-W) was defined by a faintly visible fosse (Wth c. 3m; D 0.4m) (SMR file). The site is in stubble and the enclosing fosse (Wth 8m; D 0.2-0.3m) is only visible as a short arc at SSW (L 15m).
