The National Monuments Service's description

A substantial roundwood and plank togher with occasional marl deposits (L 221.7m NE-SW; Wth. 1.3-4.1m; D 0.2-0.65m) was recorded at eleven locations on a Bord na Mona bog. The monument was recorded low down in the drain faces at its N end and on, or close to, the surface as it traversed the bog in a SW direction. It varied in composition along its length from exposures of single planks to several layers of roundwoods, planks, brushwood and gravel. The togher was dated 1490 to 1200BC.
