The National Monuments Service's description

According to a 1942 ITA survey (SMR file), a church was probably founded here by St. Mochatoc of Innisfail, one of seven companions left by St. Patrick with St. Fiacc of Sletty, while acording to the OSL (Herity 2005, 25), 'There was a Patron held here formerly on 29th of June, St Peter's Day.' In a graveyard (KD009-014004-). No visible surface traces survive, but the graveyard contains an early-17th century church (KD009-014001-) which may incorporate portion of an older church.
