In level pastureland with a second rath (KD004-009----) visible c. 50m to the E. A fairly well-preserved circular area (int. diam. 42m) is defined by a low, overgrown, earthen bank (Wth 2-2.5m; int. H 0.6-0.9m; ext. H 2.5m) which is reduced to a low scarp at N, and by an outer fosse (Wth. 4.7m at SE- 6m at N; D 0.8m at SE- 1.7m at N) which is partly recut as a field-drain (SSE-SW). A causewayed entrance (Wth. 3.4m) occurs at SE. The E-half of the level interior is overgrown with thorn bushes and briar. Visible as being overgrown on a recent aerial photograph (OSi Orthophoto 2005).
