The National Monuments Service's description

A possible 17th century graveslab which, together with a 16th century graveslab (KD003-019003-), is located in a church (KD003-019001-). It bears two inscriptions; the earlier, but undated one records the burial of a Thomas Ashe and was thought by Fitzgerald (1899-1902,134) to be of 17th century date, while the second inscription, in different lettering, commemorates another Thomas Ashe and is dated 1792.
