The National Monuments Service's description
Indicated on the 1st. ed. (1838) of the OS 6-inch map as 'Site of Castle' beside a dashed, subrectangular area (est. dims. L c. 30m NE-SW; Wth c. 10m). On a low knoll in level pastureland, with a disused burial ground (KD002-004----) c. 80m to the NE. No visible surface traces survive.
