The National Monuments Service's description

Within the centre of a rath (GA128-070----). An inaccessible souterrain, seemingly T-shaped in plan, with the 'main' passage running NNE-SSW was noted when initially inspected in July 1982. One roof lintel (L 0.9m; Wth 0.9m; H 0.3m) was noted. On a revisit in May 1992 a small stone-filled depression marked the site of the souterrain.
