The National Monuments Service's description

On a hill in an area of rock outcrop. Very poorly preserved subcircular cashel (27.5m NW-SE; 26m NE-SW) defined by a single course of limestone boulders from N through E to SW; elsewhere the line of the monument is preserved in a later field boundary. A gap at S appears to be modern. A field system (GA128-059001-) lies to the E.
