The National Monuments Service's description

Well-preserved oval cashel (56.7m NE-SW; 38.9m ENE-WSW) defined by a drystone wall best preserved from ESE through S to WSW. From W through N to ESE a later field wall indicates the former line of the enclosing element. A gap (Wth 1.6m) at SSE may be modern. A grass-covered stone wall runs across the interior from N to S; adjoining it at SW is a grassed-over rectangular stone structure (GA128-022001-) that may be a later animal shelter.
