The National Monuments Service's description

Within the interior of a cashel (GA128-014----). According to Fahey (1893, 5) based on ‘local traditions, as well as structural indications’, it is likely that there is a ‘cave’ (possible souterrain) in the 'fort'. No visible surface trace of it survives.
