The National Monuments Service's description

Within a graveyard (GA128-008003-) at the N end of Shanaglish village. Named 'Old Chapel' on the 1838 edition of the OS 6-inch map and depicted as an L-shaped building. No visible surface trace survives apart from three steps which, according to local information, led up to the church. An architectural fragment (GA128-008004-) visible in the N end of the associated graveyard may also be from it. It consists of a moulded jambstone from a doorway or window. It may now mark a grave.
