The National Monuments Service's description
This framed wall monument (Wth 0.64m; H 0.57m) is the upper one of two (see also GA127-019007-) which are set into the N wall of the chancel of the friary church (GA127-019----), immediately to the E of the doorway leading to the sacristy. An inscription carved in relief reads:
PRAY FOR THE SOV
LES OF BRASSELL

GH HIS WIFE WHO RA
ISED THIS MONVMEN
T FOR THEMSELVES &
POSTERITY: 1688
