The National Monuments Service's description
On a N-facing slope in grassland. This rectangular children's burial ground (19.5m N-S; 18.4m E-W) is defined by a poorly preserved stony bank. There is a stone-faced entrance gap (Wth 1.2m) at W. Concentrated within the NW sector of the interior are numerous lines of set stones indicating graves aligned E-W. The site is overgrown with briars and bushes. (O'Flanagan 1927, Vol. 2, 516)
