The National Monuments Service's description

On a rise in hilly pastureland, c. 50m to the SW of Danesfort House. This poorly preserved circular rath (diam. 33m) is defined by an inner scarp, an intervening berm, an outer bank/scarp and an outer fosse. The inner scarp survives all round while the berm is only clearly
evident at the SE. Slight traces of a possible outer bank are visible at SE, elsewhere a scarp forms the enclosing element. Traces of the outer fosse only survive at NNW. Beech trees are growing along the outer scarp face from S through W to N.
