The National Monuments Service's description

On a ridge in grassland. Subcircular cashel (c. 22.3m E-W; c. 20.2m N-S), in fair condition, defined by a low collapsed drystone wall that is grass-covered from S to W to NW. A gap at ESE appears to be modern. A number of mature trees are growing in the interior and along the outer face of the enclosing wall.
