The National Monuments Service's description

Immediately NW of a possible rath (GA123-039----). This overgrown structure (2.2m NE-SW; 1.8m NW-SE) is defined by grassed-over stony bank (Wth 0.8m; base Wth 2.25m; int. H 0.38m; ext. H 0.31m). There is a gap (Wth 1.25m) at S and a large lintel-like stone at SW. Possibly a hut site or an animal pen.
