The National Monuments Service's description

Associated with a tower house (GA123-015----) which occupies its S half. Only the foundations of this roughly rectangular bawn wall survive. Three wall lengths were distinguishable at NW (L 48.8m), NE (L 38.5m) and SE (L 47.7m). Only a short length of the SW wall (L 7.6m) was discernible. A gap (Wth 1.9m) within it possibly marked the location of a gateway.
