The National Monuments Service's description

In grassland. This poorly preserved circular cashel (diam. c. 28m) is defined by a low drystone wall, which is overlain by the townland boundary wall from SW to N and by a field wall from N to E. Within the interior the foundations of two rectangular buildings are evident: (a) to the NE (WNW-ESE; L 14.2m; Wth 7.5m) has an internal division at its E end, and (b) to the SW (NW-SE; L 11.8m; Wth 6.5m). These may be the remains of two of the three buildings shown on the 1838 edition of the OS 6-inch map; no visible surface trace of that shown in the SE quadrant survives. A children's burial ground (GA122-114001-) occupies the W sector of the interior.
