The National Monuments Service's description
Associated with a holy well (GA122-012----). Fahey (1893, 113) noted two ‘similar enclosures’ within ‘a few yards on either side’ of the holy well. Both were ‘without water’ and overgrown with hazel and underwood. On inspection in September 1982, one of these (GA122-012001-) was noted to the E of the well. It appeared to be the remains of a possible penitential station. No visible surface trace of the second one (GA122-012002-) was evident.
