The National Monuments Service's description
This monument came to light during the course of fieldwork on the AranLIFE Farming Project (2014-2018) (see www.aranlife.ie). It is located at the SW end of the island in an area of rough grassland. It consists of a grass-covered oval-shaped mound of earth and stone (13m NE-SW; 6.5-9m N-S; H 0.6m) which opens to the SW. Another similar mound (GA120-045----) is visible in the next field, c. 20m to the NE.
