The National Monuments Service's description

On top of a rise in an area of outcropping rock on the boundary between Ceathrú an Chaisleáin and Ceathrú an Locha. This conserved circular cashel (D c. 27m) is defined by a wall (H 2.5m; Wth 2m) from S through W to NNE. No visible surface trace survives from NNE through E to S. Within the SE quadrant is a leacht (GA120-028001-), to the E of S of which a number of possible graves (GA120-028008-), indicated by slabs protruding from the sod, are visible (information from Dr J. Waddell). (Gosling 1993, 97, no. 555)
