The National Monuments Service's description
This monument came to light during the course of fieldwork on the AranLIFE Farming Project (2014-2018) (see www.aranlife.ie). It is located in the NW corner of a field and is partially incorporated into a later field wall. It consists of a small roofless subcircular clochan or hut. It is best preserved from N to E where up to 3-4 courses of corbelling are extant on the internal wall-face (max. H 1.6-1.8m; max. Wth 2m). The W half of the monument and interior are rubble filled and at W it has been squared off with later stone work.
