The National Monuments Service's description
This bullaun stone now forms part of the landscaping of the front garden of a modern bungalow. It was found by the landowner when he was bulldozing a roadway into his workshop to the SE. The boulder (L 1.08m; Wth 076m; H 0.5m) is of granite and the basin (0.6 x 0.4m; D 0.2m) occupies much of its surface. The field in which the house is situated is known locally as Liss Hill.
