The National Monuments Service's description

Within a rath (GA117-057----). According to local information, there is a souterrain in the rath. Its site may be marked by a rectangular depression (N-S; L >11.6m; Wth 2.4m; D c. 0.6m) in the S sector of the interior. At the S end of the depression a number of large slabs may be displaced roof lintels.
