The National Monuments Service's description

On an E-facing slope in pastureland. On inspection in July 1983 this irregularly shaped burial ground (25m N-S; 20m E-W) was defined by a stone wall with an entrance at SE. A number of headstones and some small randomly spaced slabs were visible in the undergrowth. There was a bullaun stone (GA116-035001-) beside the entrance, on the N side, and a holy well (GA116-034----) c. 100m to the NE. Current OSi aerial imagery indicates that the burial ground has been subsumed into a larger graveyard. (O’Flanagan 1927, Vol. 2, 514)
