In a graveyard (GA115-031001-) on a slight rise in pastureland. All that survives of this medieval church is an ivy-covered section of its S side-wall (E-W; L >6m; max. H c. 3.8m; wall T 0.8m). No visible surface traces of the other walls survive. The central section of the wall has been robbed out. It is constructed of well-cut roughly coursed mortared limestone blocks. At its E end, the W side of a window embrasure is visible. On one of its internal jambstones there is a decorated panel bearing Romanesque knotwork. A cashel-like foundation beneath the modern curving wall of the graveyard at S may be part of an earlier enclosing wall, suggesting the possible presence of an ecclesiastical enclosure. The graveyard also contained a chapel (GA115-031002-) and a 19th-century Catholic church (GA115-031003-) occupies its NE end. (O’Flanagan 1927, Vol. 2, 28-9)
