The National Monuments Service's description
In level pastureland. Classified by McCaffrey (1952, 288, no. 67) as circular 'Earthen fort' defined by a denuded bank (Wth 3.6m; H 0.9m). On inspection all that was visible was an overgrown double ring of boulders set on edge; probably the foundations of a cashel wall (diam. 24.4m). A possible souterrain (GA1124-169001-) was noted to the S of the monument.
