The National Monuments Service's description
Associated with a rath (GA114-100001-). According to a field report in 1970 (SMR file), there were 'two standing stones near the edge of [this] fort (one c. 6' [1.8m] high)'. Only one quartz pillar stone (H 1.9m; Wth 0.87m; T 0.67m) is now visible in the E sector of the interior of the rath. Traces of packing stones are evident around its base. No trace of the second stone survives. Possibly a stone pair originally?
