The National Monuments Service's description

Within the SW quadrant of a cashel (GA114-026----). This poorly preserved drystone-built souterrain (L 5m; Wth 1.9m; H 1.35m) runs NW-SE. Most of the roof lintels have collapsed and the interior is filled with rubble. It is likely that it extended further to the SE as a slight depression is evident beyond the access point. Undulations in the ground surface further to the E and S (L 6.5m) also suggest this.
