The National Monuments Service's description
On a low tree-covered knoll in pastureland. This almost circular cashel (c. 22m E-W; c. 21m N-S), which is defined by a much-denuded stone wall (Wth 1.7m; H 0.25-0.6m), came to light following recent tree clearance in the area. Only the basal course of the wall survives and both inner and outer facing-stones are visible intermittently. It is heavily overgrown with ivy and is best preserved at S. Recent disturbance is evident following the removal of the trees and numerous tree stumps and woody debris are visible. A field wall, running roughly WSW-ENE, crosses the monument. Other substantial field walls extending off the cashel wall may be associated.
