The National Monuments Service's description
On a low ridge in pastureland. The entrance to a now blocked-up 'artificial cave' was visible in the SW corner of this field. According to local information, at one time, it was possible to descend into it for quite some distance (information from S. O'Callaghan 1987). A large hay-shed has since been built in this area of the field and no visible surface trace of it survives.
