The National Monuments Service's description

In level pastureland. This subcircular cashel (34m E-W; 30m N-S), in fair condition, is defined by a drystone wall with a possible entrance gap at SE. Traces of a linear wall (L 13m) running S from the W side of the gap may be associated with it. A tower house (GA113-058001-) was constructed in the SW quadrant of the interior and the cashel wall may have subsequently functioned as its bawn wall. A field wall cuts through the interior from roughly N to S. Traces of two buildings (GA113-058005- and GA113-058006-) are visible in the NE quadrant. House sites (GA113-058002-, GA113-058007-, GA113-058008- and GA113-058009-) are also visible to the SW.
