The National Monuments Service's description
Centrally located within a rath (GA113-013002-). When initially visited by the Survey in 1982 this souterrain was blocked up. Its entrance (Wth 3.8m; H 0.3m) was incorporated in the NW end of a low earthen bank which ran NW-SE through the interior of the monument. When revisited in 1984 most of this monument had been levelled and a barn was erected within the W half of the interior. No visible surface trace of the souterrain survived.
