The National Monuments Service's description

In pastureland overlooking a turlough to the E. This very poorly preserved rectangular church (16.75m E-W, 9.8m N-S), possibly of medieval date, is very heavily overgrown. It is constructed of roughly coursed well-mortared large undressed blocks of limestone. Only a short section of the E end of the N side-wall (L 5.9m) and the N end of the W gable (L 3.3m) survive. A small ope (0.4 x 0.2m) is visible in the W gable and the remains of a single-light window embrasure survive in the N wall. There was a graveyard (GA112-041001-) immediately to the S of the church; a children's burial ground (GA112-041002-) is associated with it (Korff and O'Connell 1985).
