The National Monuments Service's description

On bare limestone close to line of the old road from Cill Ronáin to Cill Éinne, Inis Mór, but c. 85m NE of the present road. Uninscribed, rectangular drystone pier (L 1.15m, Wth 1m, H 1.4m) surmounted by a limestone pillar. A modern animal shelter adjoins it at NW. A rough-out for a cross lies c. 30m to NW and there is a group of eight leachtanna cuimhne (GA111-021---- to GA111-021007-) c. 90m to SSW.
