The National Monuments Service's description
On S side of a trackway, immediately overlooking N shore of Inis Mór. An unenclosed natural rectangular platform (42m by 12m), now cut by modern field walls. Numerous small set stones are visible as well as three inscribed gravestones: (a) dated 1895; (b) dated 1901, commemorating a child aged nine years; and (c) dated 1924, commemorating a child aged one year. There are also three upright cross slabs (GA111-002004-, GA111-002012-, GA111-002013-)at W end. Robinson (1980) notes that it was in use until 'a few decades ago'. There is a possible clochan (GA111-002015-) immediately to N and a cross-inscribed pillar (GA111-002007-) immediately to SE. Circa 50m to SSE is a similar pillar (GA111-002006-) and c. 80m to SW is Teampall Chiaráin (GA111-002001-). (Crawford 1913, 155)
