The National Monuments Service's description

On limestone terrace overlooking the N coast of Inis Mór. A subcircular drystone hut (NE-SW 1.8m, NW-SE 1.55m) with a corbelled roof and a doorway at E. A curving wall abuts it and extends E for a short distance. Used when 'straddling' horses for fetching seaweed, as were Nos GA110-054---- and GA110-055---- (Robinson 1980).

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. I - West Galway'. Compiled by Paul Gosling (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993).
