The National Monuments Service's description
On S side of the Cill Mhuirbhigh road a short distance SE of the village of Eoghanacht, Inis Mór. A similar monument (GA110-013001-) stands immediately to W. A square mortared pier (L/Wth 1.05m, H 2.1m) surmounted by a cross. The N face contains two plaques commemorating 'Patrick Dirrane', dated 1890.
