The National Monuments Service's description
On a bluff over S side of road between Eoghanacht and Creig na Chéirín, Inis Mór. A rectangular mortared pier (L 1.15m, Wth 1.15m, H 1.75m) surmounted by a cross bearing the letters IHS. The NE face contains two plaques commemorating 'Patk Folan', dated 1819. (Robinson 1980)
