The National Monuments Service's description
On a rise in undulating grassland. Marked on the 1838 edition of the OS 6-inch map as an embanked circular enclosure (diam. c. 40). On the OS 1:2500 plan (surveyed 1912-16) it is shown as an enclosure cut by a roughly N-S running trackway and field boundary from NNE to SSE. On inspection all that was visible was a circular stone-filled depression (diam. 16m; D 0.6m) much overgrown and obscured by field clearance. Possibly a barrow.
