The National Monuments Service's description

On a SW-facing slope in undulating grassland. This very poorly preserved medieval church (12.8m E-W; 7.3m N-S; wall T 0.8m) is constructed of fairly regularly coursed and mortared limestone. It was described in the OS Letters (O'Flanagan 1927a, Vol. 2, 54-8) as a ruined old church - the N and E walls of which were 'perfectly level with the ground'; the W end of the S wall survived to its original height and the remaining section of the W gable survived to the height of the S side-wall. The only architctural features noted were a pointed doorway in the S wall and the remains of a broken window at the top of the W gable. All that now survives is a short isolated section of the S wall (L 3.3m; H 2.5m), the N end of the W gable (L 5.1m; H 1.5m) and the W end of the N wall (L 3.4m). Grassed-over foundations indicate the line of the E gable as well as the E end of the S wall.
