The National Monuments Service's description
On an E-W running ridge in grassland. Marked on the 3rd edition of the OS 6-inch map (1945) as a circular enclosure (c. 33m NE-SW; c. 28m NW-SE). Traces of a low scarp were evident from NW to NNW, otherwise no visible surface trace survived due to extensive quarrying. A barn and silo pit occupied the S sector of the interior. Based on the siting and cartographic evidence it is possible that this was a rath.
