The National Monuments Service's description
On a rise in undulating grassland. Well-preserved subcircular rath (39.5m N-S; 30m E-W) defined by two tree-lined banks and an intervening fosse. The fosse and outer bank do not survive from S to W, and a field boundary overlies the outer bank from NW through E to S. There is a causewayed entrance gap (Wth 4m) at SSE. According to local information, there was a possible souterrain (GA107-047----) to the WSW of the monument.
