The National Monuments Service's description

Circa 15m to the SSE of a children's burial ground (GA106-112001-). This spring well is enclosed by a very poorly preserved circular drystone surround (diam. c. 2m). A small mound of stones lies immediately to its N; it is unclear whether it is associated with the well. Some 8m to its S lies a modern well, which according to local information, was sunk c. 1940.
