The National Monuments Service's description
Within the NE sector of Lough Rea, a short distance to the E of a crannog (GA105-198003-), at the mouth of the St. Cleren's River. A possible crannog or habitation site was noted but a brief snorkel proved inconclusive (information from K. McDonald). Not precisely located.
