The National Monuments Service's description
Within the SW quadrant of a rath (GA104-258----). This well-preserved drystone-built souterrain consists of a rectangular chamber (L 3.5m; Wth 1.4m) running E-W. Access is gained at its E end. There are two small recesses in the side-walls: (a) in the S wall 1.1m from its W end; (b) in the N wall just inside the entrance. A linear depression, which may possibly be associated, runs to the NNW from the entrance. (McCaffrey 1952, 249, no. 17)
