The National Monuments Service's description
In pastureland in and area of undulating drumlin countryside. This poorly preserved subcircular cashel (21.5m N-S; 19m E-W) is defined by a partially grassed-over stone spread but inner and outer-facing stones are visible intermittently giving a wall thickness of 2.1m at NE. Here the wall is only 0.1-0.2m high. The perimeter is overgrown with thorn bushes from S through W to NW where a later field wall has been built on top of the inner wall-face of the cashel. Field-clearance material has been dumped against the wall at W. Another cashel (GA104-162----) lies c. 110m to the SW.
