The National Monuments Service's description
On a ridge. This circular ring-barrow (diam. c. 35m) comprises a flat-topped central mound (diam. c. 13m; H 0.75-1m) which is encircled by a fosse and external bank. From SE to SSW the bank has been levelled and the fosse has been partially in-filled. The construction of a slurry pit has disturbed the bank from SW to W. (McCaffrey 1952, 26, no. 143; 1955, 223)
