The National Monuments Service's description

This is one of two possible bullaun stone recorded by McCaffrey (1952, 222-3) who noted that there were 'two stone basins … serving as an adjunct to a sheepwash' in the field to the S of the chapel (GA104-092003). One was 'rectangular' (GA104-092004-) and this one was 'D-shaped'. On inspection in June 1992 they could not be located.
