The National Monuments Service's description

On a rise in undulating pastureland. A poorly preserved circular cashel (diam. 24.4m) defined by a collapsed drystone wall that is overlain by a later field wall from E through S to W. McCaffrey (1952, 219, no. 77) noted an entrance gap (Wth c. 2.4m) at N, and four internal enclosures (average dims. 8m x 6m), defined by earth and stone banks, which abutted the cashel wall-face at NE, SE and two at W. Those at W are the remains of a house (GA104-078001-) but no visible surface traces of the others survive.
